What kind of lock is this and how do you pick it?

This lock has a key that has grooves on either side. It's inserted horizontally instead of the usual vertical way. You have to turn it twice before it can open and it requires a lot of tension. What lock is it? How can you pick it?

Also I know of a lock which has a key that has three parts/sections of differently angled 'slopes'. Looks real simple but I've never seen such a key before. What lock is it? Can it be picked?

You may have only seen this magical key one time, but here I haven't even seen it once.
However to answer Your question, Yes it can be picked
I'd hafta see the key to make a guess as to what lock it is & how to pick it

Here's the image:


Top two is the key that's inserted horizontally (both sides). Bottom two is the key with angled slopes. The key at the bottom only needs to be turned once. Key on top needs two hard turns.

I live in Singapore and the top key is actually for my main doors and the bottom key is for my post box.

Mitsuba is a dimple lock, yes it can be picked with special picks such as these viewtopic.php?t=2980&start=15

REAL is Taiwan company and that design is a clone of Abloy disc detainer mechanism from Finland, very difficult to pick (but some clones and imitation Abloy locks are much easier than authentic Abloy locks), but can be done and may require buying a special tool.
