picking short back pins

Ok I loaded schlage sc4 cylinder 6 pins with real short pins in the back and long pins in the front to make it a challenge.How do you guys attack such a pin setiing? I am having trouble even finding a binding order. I am going to keep attacking the back pins until I find something that resembles a binding order until you guys send me the silver bullet or otherwise bail me out.Thanx

Remember with really short pins sometimes all it takes is brush against a pick to set it.

Try moving to a pick with more reach for the back pins

I think you're right a longer reach hook was the answer.Theres barely any room in this keyway so I am going to try top of keyway tension and a longer reach hook together.I don't have much experience with top of keyway tension but I guess thats what practice locks are for thanx for the help.

I use a pick gun, it doesn't care how short the back pins are
