This is my first post on here and i'm excited to learn a skill that is actually useful sometimes. I have tried lock picking before a couple years back and learned some but never used this resource or invested in the correct tools. Anyways, Ive been studying up again and I have found a lock I can't find a lot on.
It is on a Japanese "pachinko" slot machine " cabinet that I own, but has been broken since it was given to me. This slot machine only runs on tokens instead of actual money. This is because in Japanese spam they exchange the tokens for money and prizes so its not technically gambling. Just mentioning to be clear and stay within the rules.
Anyways, the lock looks like a tubular lock that is typical for arcade and vending machines, but its a bit more unique than most of those. See the picture for this, because I dont know enough to really explain it well. Since it was designed to be used in a spam type environment in Japan, I fear the bic pen method will not work because it is too secure. Also Im scared to mess the lock up doing that as I would really like to get inside it and fix whatever causes this machine to not recognize when a token in inserted so it can stop sitting uselessly in the corner.

So what tools/methods would you use? Is the bic pen a viable option? Any info helps as I'm still in the learning stage. Let me know if any more pic are needed of the me with the machine or the tokens or whatever and ill post them sometime tomorrow. Thanks!
