Big update
I was going to add a pin to the American this morning, as I was able to open it at will with two pins. I started messing with the Schlage and I was having a good feel day
and what I learned on the two pin American came into play big time and pop it opened. http://imgur.com/Z186sdA

During disassembly I let the core rotate while removing the clip and relocked it. After attempting to shim it and having difficulty I reassembled it and picked it again. http://imgur.com/ByAwHIC
