In Spain, a large number of homes have dimple locks on their main door. Dimple locks have a keyway that's perpendicular to the movement of the pins. Or, in other words, it's a horizontal rectangle, instead of a vertical more or less jiggly shape. Thus == instead of ||.
To push pins perpendicularly to the line of the pick, one usually uses a circular motion with a flag-like pick. Note, that a standard half diamond pick IS a flag-like pick.
Therefore, when you say you're in Spain, people will suggest you buy and learn to use dimple picks, for dimple locks.
I suggest you start with a cheap goso dimple set. I started with one little more than a week ago and I've opened lots of dimple locks.
