How much force is correct to Single pick

Thats a neat trick. Would this work for all pin tumblers including security pins. Catching them on the way down seems a very quick method.

Also, think of it more as levering a pin rather than pushing it. Use the bottom of keyway or a warding as a fcrum down your pick and "seesaw" the pin up into place. You shouldn't be bending anything but the cheapest of picks. That said, I am new to this, too.
