In my expirence, tension is hard to teach. it varies from lock to lock. The amount of tension (light, moderate, heavy) as well as the type of tensioner you use (ie tok vs bok)

Go find any youtube on Peterson Pry Bar - you'll never go back.

I second this. I would say 80% of the locks I pick are with .04" and .05" Peterson prybars. Those sizes should fit most locks. They are a little pricey at $10 a piece but should last forever.

If price is a concern that same design has since been copied by many other makers. For example, Sparrows sells a pair for $5.95 CAD. There are others as well, that was simply an example.
