The metal is 0.28" and I double it at the end and smash it flat on an anvil making 0.56", then I grind it a bit to make it 0.53" (What I need for my Russwin lock)
Its so annoying when a wrench falls out, I can't pick like that, and if you want to take the time, you can have a wrench fit each lock you pick. It's not practical if you're picking lots of locks, but maybe these will fit most locks well enough to pass.
