Kwikset Key Trap

Where can I buy T Pins and master wafers, I really don't want to buy a whole set of pins. I want to improve security on my own Kwikset locks.

Adding master wafers to Kwikset would make it even easier to pick.. Upgrade your security by going to Schlage or Arrow, or at least Kwikset Smartkey which doesn't use regular easy to pick pins.

looks like you are trying to build the kwikset security upgrade that LPL featured in his youtube video Pickproof your Kwikset For Less Than $1 to cause the lock to become inoperable if picked to the wrong shear line

CLK should have what you need or ask a local locksmith for a few wafers and tpins but you will need to know the sizes of what you need to make it work.

A cheap pining kit like the Lab mini .003 is great to have around with the addition of some security pins

You can find T-pins in the cores of any Schlage F-line cylinder

I was able to buy bulk security pins from a local locksmith supply place for $7 per tube of 100.

Worth making a couple phone calls

After posting a comment on a different post here on Schlage caps, I remember seeing t-pins in the lock department’s repair kit at Lowe’s. Don’t remember seeing wafers though.

Stop by and ask!!
