Trouble Moving From 2-Pin to 3-Pin Tumbler

Hi there. Never thought I’d struggle so much to learn, but in short I purchased the Southord beginner set of 5 locks, with 1-5 pins, and am currently getting stuck on 3-pin locks. I’ve tried less tension, more tension, I can feel and hear the pins locking into place, but I’m just getting frustrated with no luck. I can do 2-pin no problem. Any advice? I’ve looked for local groups and friends that’s might have skills, but so far no luck.

Try less tension, not more. Too heavy tension and all you will do is bend picks and damage pins.
