Sparrow Cutaway Practice Lock

Postby magicspeller » 25 Mar 2021 16:29

Hi everyone,

I've been working with MrWizard's practice lock, which I highlyI recommend. It's been discussed here a lot, with many rave reviews, but for anyone who's not familiar with it, you can see it described here:

As far as I can tell with my very limited knowledge, this is a very high-quality lock, but the best thing about it is the support you get with it. MrWizard has gone far beyond what might have been expected in answering all my newbie questions. However, I've been having trouble even managing the most basic lock picking skills. I decided, based on this review by Bosnianbill:

to order the Sparrows cutaway lock, along with the Reload Kit. It arrived today and it looks very impressive. However, it arrived with no instructions! For something that I had thought would be helpful to a newbie like me, it has me totally lost. I have nearly no clue how to use it. All I can find at the website is a description, which uses terms that are meaningless to me. Worse yet, I can't even see a way to contact them to ask for help.

Can anyone tell me if these products should have come with instructions, or how I can contact Sparrows? If not, I'll post again with a list (probably very long) of the things I need help with.

Thanks a lot,
Keith

Don’t know if you are still interested, but no, my Sparrows kit came with no instructions at all. However there are a lot of great videos and such on YouTube. If you are still having issues, let me know and I can try to help…
