The bad news is the (sort of) same as the good news. You've wanted open-source lock designs for a long time. Well the subject matter of this thread is going to be public domain soon everywhere except in the US, where we were able to maintain funding for IP prosecution. Ironic, no? The US market will be enough to get us into and maintain production for decades. So still full steam head there (here in the US). Anyone who is able to or wants to make the outside the US will have a clear shot soon.
Clay finally got the new screens up on the web-site. These show the animation of the velocity cam and the products we'll offer at entry. I U-tubed an appeal for funding as a last resort. It got a few views, but like the efforts for funding through "normal" channels, got nothing useful. It's the ecomony or maybe I'm just too stupid to find money.
The working model is coming nicely. got the key to operate the pins smoothly. next is the hard part..populating the cam and getting the spring bias correct. Anyway, thanks again for all of the great and useful input. Wish me luck!
