As with every hobby, there are so many upgrade options available... And as with every hobby, there's a risk to go on shopping sprees and to end up "with all the gear but no with no idea"
When will I know if it's time to upgrade my beginners pick kit (4 picks, 3 tension tools)? If I can't open a reasonably standard lock, how do I know if it's my skillset that's not high enough, or if I'm just not using the right tool?
When did more experience pickers decide to upgrade?
