Hi all!
I went to a rehab store to purchase some old doorknobs and found a few to practice with. I think I'm doing this correctly, but maybe not. I'm using my tension wrench and pick to pick the pins and I'm consistently able to turn the cylinder so I'm assuming I'm picking it properly... But the doorknob itself won't turn.
This doorknob / lock combo has a turny lock on the other side - it's like a bedroom door / interior lock. The lock works, I can lock and unlock and the doorknob will turn / not turn depending on if it's locked.
My question is... Is there another step to picking these locks? Is it possible that you can pick the lock, turn the cylinder, but that doesn't REALLY unlock the door lock?
It didn't come with keys.
