Hi,

I used to lp frequently about 14 years ago. I want to get back into it i have trouble with locks with 6+ pins. Like 10= noway. I also am not too good with security pins. I used to be able to deal with mushroom but serrated causes me issues. I'm also interested in tubular locks and any other advice for a lock sport enthusiast interested in fine motor control looking to get back into the art.

Start small and progressively work your way up. Here is my lockpicking progression system for padlocks:
  1. Master Lock 3(K)D
  2. Master Lock 140(K)D
  3. Master Lock 150(K)D
  4. American Lock A1105(KD)RED
  5. PACLOCK 90A-PRO ("1-inch" shackle)
These locks were selected from LockPickers United's Belt Rankings List on r/lockpicking, among other sources:
