Tool suppliers in Australia

Postby djb12345 » 7 Dec 2004 22:56

Given that the cost of shipping to Australia from US suppliers almost doubles the cost of small orders, are there any Aussies out there that can suggest a more local source of tools (that don't require you to be a locksmith).

given the fact that in some states you are required to have on your person evidence for the legitimate possession of picks (outside your own home) (e.g. QLD I know for a fact) and in NT it's illegal. I'd doubt that you'll find an aussie supplier that will sell to non-proffessional locksmiths.

luke may be able to advise you more - there are the two big suppliers LSC and lock 'n key, but they're by membership only.

it would be nice to have another aussie supplier to break the duopoly wouldn't it.....
Oh look! it's 2016!

Just go with lockpicks.com, no proof needed, right to your door, only like $5 postage. No worries.
The best lock pick is C4 followed by a sledge Hammer

Was just wondering which australian locks sit where on the scale of difficulty,

in particular, what should a beginner start with?? and where does lockwoods reside on the scale??

well it depends..lockwood c4 locks are easy, the things that make them hard is the spring pressure at the other end of the scale is Bilock... :)
