Umm, NYC, I think the yellowpages will show up a few dozen places. Or since you live there, a 9mil opens doors much faster and much better then lockpicking. Your from NYC, so I assume thats what your after. If not, then sorry for that, and yellow pages are the way to go.

you could also take part in an at home correspondance type course such as Foley-Belsaw. They send you the lessons, you complete them and send them back for grading... check out this thread: viewtopic.php?t=1073&highlight=

full of info about it. there's a few other courses like that one too.

Bob and Doug got all the beer, and we don't need no stinkin' igloos.

Seriously though, I remember at least one place that had a great locksmithing course. If I can find the information I will post it.

I lived in NYC for a while. Mostly just bumming around and sacking out at a friends place. It's not as bad as it seems, it's just because there are so many freaking people in one small space.

Why anyone would shoot a lock is beyond me. Some of the places I have seen make Fort Knox look insecure. Takes almost a minute to open all the locks. Not to mention the reinforcement places on the door and frame.

Some people are downright paranoid. Some with good reason.

Let me see if I can find that school.
