Tools question.....

Okay you Lockies, I was just over in eBay shopping around in the locksmith tool section and happened upon this small selection of tools.

Some of them look like Exacto knife blades, but what are the rest of them for?

they are main used for installation/removal of locks on the doors
E.G. the three standing up looking like salt shakers are for removing the castle nut on a schlage D-Line, some of the others are used for tightning/loosing the rose on various locks.
if your just starting out as a US lockie its worth getting

Gratis!!?

Postby The Wanderer » 13 Feb 2005 9:32

They give them out for free? Man, I'm glad somebody chimed in on that one. This fellows reputation isn't very good on eBay anyway. He has a 97.8 rating and doesn't communicate with his customers at all. That would make me crazy! I don't mind if your slow, but don't ignore me in the process.

well they are included with the lock when you are installing new
so eventually you wind up with 3 or four of one type and then throw the rest away

i should sell them on ebay
