Hi!
I've been lockpicking for a while now on locks with home made picks and I wanted to extend my skills on combination locks. I've tried the method they give on the site http://www.people.fas.harvard.edu/~hill ... _lock.html
to crack my Master lock's forgotten combination. It found it back in about 10 minutes without any problem. I was quite impressed, so I decided to try the method on another Master lock which I knew the combo. BUT, there I found a problem. The five sticky points that fit ON a number are: 6, 16, 26, 36, 39. According to the method, first reflex would be to take 39 as the third number, but this is wrong, since my combo is 02-20-06. I've tried all the possibilities with 39 as the last number, and none worked.
Conclusion: ?
Is it possible that they made a new model of lock? However, both Master locks (the one I forgot the combo and the one I knew and did not respected the rule) were bought together, and one respected the "rule".
Thanks, Kymoz
By the way, I made a search with "Master, combination, craking, etc." for any similar thread talking about the same problem, and the search engine on this forum sorted me about 18 pages of 30 reasults each, so I'm sorry if this question has already been answered (in this case, please just direct me to the similar thread and delete this one)
By the way#2, thanks a lot to all of you who accept to share their knowledge and the ones who spend time on making this site and community work.
