While i truly belief in full disclosure and the need for it, i think the advanced forums do a great deal motivating people to participate and not just leech the info available and move on. This, in combination with the feeling they are not about some elitism-thingie make them a good thing for me.

And if someone leeches the info and moves on - how is that a problem? He moves on - nobody cares about him.
If the info is interesting enough - he will stick around.

By making this info such a "secret" there is an artificial ego enhancement to those who learn the "advanced" stuff - and I think that is the biggest problem. Once people start realizing that it is advanced only because a few people know it and that if everyone knew it - it is not that advanced anymore - the pros would move on to better stuff and we will benefit from truly advanced security and not from psudo-advanced security by obscurity.

Anyways - this thread is going nowhere - I don't think I will convince anyone to change the rules - but at least I had my chance to give my take on this issue - eventually I know that things will change - I hope sooner than later, but I will leave it as hope. No more talk from me about FD in this forum unless I'm asked about my opinion. :)

Pleasure to get to know you all!
