locks too small

Ive recently purchased a padlock and I cant seem to fit my tension tool and my pick in it comfortably enough to make any progress. I cant send picktures because i am on vacation in europe and i left my camera at home, but i made my pick in a hook shape with the materials in pyros video, and my tension tool was made by grinding the end of an alan wrench down until it was shaped like a flathead. Im guesing the problem is my tension tool, but im not really sure.

If it's one of those really small 3-pin padlocks, you only need a tension wrench to open them. Just jiggle and turn...

You need a wide variety of tension wrench sizes if you want to be able to pick a wide variety of locks. I suggest you get a small expesive file and some vise grips to alter your wrenches. I've found that angling the head of the wrench helps it fit in ore keyways more snugly. Good luck.

since your on vacation, making smaller picks probably isnt an option, so why dont you just buy a bigger padlock
