Picking GuarD padlock

I found an old padlock to practice on. It's a old GuarD padlock that i lost the key to so my goal now is to pick it. I havn't picked a padlock before cause i'm still new to picking. Can anyone give me some tips for this?

try you first attempt
fail
come read some more about security pins
try again
fail again
buy a cheap practise lock
pick it
succeed
come read some more into here
try to pick the padlock again succeed

sorry if it sounded rude, was suppsoed to be some sort of, well how do you say it? funny text thingy guess it didn't work. btw gratz on the pick LTPlee.
how many pins did the lock have? any security or something? never heard of it. we only them hard abus locks and them stupid dimple locks here
