Yale lock that i can't get picked...

Hi I am patrick (from Holland

I have this Yale padlock that I can't get picked
I read a lot of guides but I still Have troubles with it.
My question is: What am I doing wrong??

the problem is when I have pin 2,3,4 and 5 in place and I put pin 1 in place number 3 pups up again and when I put 3 back again number 1 pups up

sounds to like there is a high-low combo in it and you need more paitence

is it with a motherkey or something?

high-low combo means that one pin is high and then the next low... making it hard to set one without over setting the other

motherkey? (I believe you meant masterkey and reply as such) could be but that would make it easier... heck it could even have security pins though...

use a shallow and SPP... medium to light tension... you'll get it with time

no. it just means that the bottom pins go in a sequence that one is very small, and then one is very big. big and small being long and short. so your key looks maybe something like this if you have a lock that was 100% high low keyed.

So when you are picking, if you set the first pin, the second pin is hard to get at because you have to push it up really high and it is tough because you can't touch the 1st pin or it may overset

sorry about the crappy key, (it is a 4 pin key by the way) and sorry i had to put those periods in that is what is keeping some of the dashes from sticking to the left side.

Don't sweat the double post, just try try try to use that preview button. It's like an edit button from the future

Also, keep making positive, helpful posts and you'll do just fine here. Not trying to take you under my wing or anything, but there happens to be another "newbie" on these forums that has become an exceptional picker and pick-maker. Maybe I've just been influenced by your name choice

Anyway, you'll be fine, take the abuse, suck it up, keep learning.

You are saying that I am the exeptional picker and pick maker? Cuz I have made like 3 picks, a diamond, a snake rake, and a single hump bogata, 2 of the 3 I already have in bought form...but the made picks still are crappy, I need some fine grit sand paper...ger.

And I am not that great of a picker. I have locks I can pick, locks i can't, and locks I have picked twice.

That is of course if you are referring to me.
