Jason, the making of picks isnt advanced forum as such, i can tell you how to make them but 2 things of note,
1) You need equipment to do it like a lathe and milling machine,
2) You can only be told how to use them in the advanced section.

You may get it one day but i think basic knowledge needs to be improved somewhat before you do, stick with it and try to get to be a good picker.

You dont have the tools and cant afford to buy them, you also dont have the knowledge nor machineary to make them so i would give it up on the disc locks, you need to practise picking normal locks first until you are good at it.
It can very well happen someday mate but you really do have to learn and practice more.
On another note, the admin have been very busy and im sure you wasnt ignored but rather considered and then rejected at this time, dont take it to heart youve got so much more to learn anyway so just carry on reading the site.

If you understand how the lock works, and you understand why lockpicking works, you should be able to figure out how to pick an Abus Plus without advanced forum access, I'm not skilled enough, but it's probably possible with a 2 in 1 pick or even 2 wires.

If you buy a lock, and take it apart, I think you will be able to figure out how it works.

Two questions:
I now own several Abus Plus 88/50 padlocks, keyed alike, and one key. I don't have the card or code for the key.
I'd like to know if I can get the key duplicated. I'm willing to present my existing key and locks if requested.
I'd also like to know how to take this lock apart. I recall seeing instructions somewhere on this site, but I've searched and so far come up blank.
It's a good day when I learn something new.

I believe you would get your keys duplicated, but I never actually tried it.
To open it - the 88/50 is meant to be rekeyable. Can you unscrew the round cover that goes around the keyway?
Cheers,
Michael
