I can't remember his name properly, but it is somthing like "Haiim". He is one of the guys in Israel

The reason why I bought the Art of Manipulation was because I have got a Phoenix safe. The lock is one of the easiest that i've ever picked. It is such a nice feeling when you turn that tension wrench. But what I wanted to do is open this safe by using the method of TOAM. I am going to be getting another safe in a couple of weeks. I'm not sure what it's going to be as a friend is getting it for me. But what I want to do is use the principles used in the Art Of Manipulation. God knows how long this will take me to open. I've told my friend that I don't want to know the combination. What will probably take a master minutes will probably take me days. but i'm looking forward to it

As this book was first published in 1955, safecracking was still a closely guarded secret. This was also during the days of "The Red Scare". Commies everywhere. :)

Mr Lentz never dreamed of the information super-highway. He'd probably be horrified by the disclosure of sensitive materials for those willing to dig a little.

Some modern "old school" locksmiths are still horrified.
