Well its probably a good thing that i posted here, this forum has given me a lot to think about. But everything with the lock happened early last year and that was the first and only time i picked locks at school so nobody even remembers. Anyway, thanks for your um, advice, and i think i will stick to picking my own locks from now on... seems like a much safer idea i think!
