You could keister them.
Then you would be already used to it when you went to prison. Just imagine what you could hide in there. Lighters, smack, lock picks, hair nets, or whatever!
For the best book out there on high security locks and their operation, take a look at amazon.com for High-Security Mechanical Locks An Encyclopedic Reference. Written by our very own site member Greyman! A true 5 Star read!!

I didn't mean to make it sound like I'm trying to break the law, cuz im NOT, don't want to, I actually want to go into the Marines when I get older, so yea..
Why shouldn't i conceal, is it like if they see that I'm not trying to, they probably won't bust me, because it will probably seem that I'm obviously not doing something illegal??
K thanks guys, sorry for any confusion, will probably just leave them at home
Would you so kindly tell me why you didn't answer my question? I asked you in response to your original question: Well I want to carry them with me in case i get locked out of my house, out of our car, et cetera.
I asked why carrying a set of spares wouldn't be the preferred means. I smell logical fallacy.

OH MY God people.
Okay to answer all of your crap about me that I don't appreciate cuz none of it is true, here we go.
A) My username is stealth'n'wealth NOT because I want to be a criminal. That's the last thing I want to be. It's stealth'n'wealth for two reasons. 1- I like playing splintercell video games, and I enjoy playing paintball where I try and play the role of a sniper. 2) SOmeone already had the username stealth, so i just added something onto it that rhymed and sounded cool. I DO NOT WANT TO BE A CRIMINAL FOR GOD'S SAKE. My username does not reflect what I intend to be on this forum, it only reflects what I like to do.
B) I spelled exactly without the "e" because otherwise the title would not fit in the subject bar, there wouldn't have been enough room.
C) Sorry for any misconceptions about the name of the thread. I don't want to be caught,
D) I'm not even gonna start lockpicking anymore because a) I don't want to get caught, b) Now that I think about it i would have no use for it, c) I would have no use for it.
Sorry for the rant, but you guys pretty much just racked up a pretty bad image of me when that's what I'm not. I realize the thread was not exactly perfect.
Oh and in response to the suggestion of just go and get a spare key from your dealership, we can't do that. Don't know why, but we can't. We tried.
Stealth'n'wealth out.

Sory I can't edit posts here, so I'll have to post a new post. WOT, the answer to your question is that WE CAN'T GET A SPARE KEY FOR OUR CAR AS I SAID BEFORE.

A friendly member on here might be able to bang one out for you.
LOOK
we get so much crap from so many people. And I don't mean "The national media hates us" or whatever, but I mean each of us, in our daily lives, has to regularly defend what we do and why we do it, often to people who are otherwise very close to us, and the most virulent argument is that we're willfully teaching criminals how to pick locks. It's obviously not the case, but our extraordinary vigilance is a result of this regular brow-beating that many, if not most of us go through.
And really? It matters. It matters that we be this sketched out this easily. What we do has an incredible potential for misuse. So, once you have the opportunity to step back from being offended, take a second to reflect on the motives behind our standoffish attitudes. You might just appreciate it if you can separate your own frustration from the equation.
Stick around, learn to pick. Don't think of it as a useful skill, think of it as an entertaining challenge. Knowing how the devices that keep you safe operate is a hell of a learning experience.

Dude let me tell you, first I will be honest, not mean so don't cry. Your stupid for choosing a name like silent, or wealth in a lockpicking forum. Thats like going to a US military forum sporting a name like Shite Shakur.
Also, if you want to carry picks then carry them, we are not your mommy.
If you want to be steathy carry around canned corn, yes canned corn. When a police officer asks what the picks are for, quickly, wealthfuly and stealthly eat the corn and begin to remove corn from teeth with your picks.
If the cop is still there, offer him some corn so you's can pick your teeth together and enjoy the wonders of canned corn together.
Somebody lock this

I started picking locks, not so I can protect myself from getting locked out, but I just thought it was cool to learn something new.
Don't be a hot shot, lean how first.

What kinda car is it?
The whole spare key thing from a dealership usually ends up with some dumba$$ at the dealership that has no clue and ends up with a customer feeling helpless. After all, it's the dealership and they should be able to do EVERYTHING for the car. Guess what, usually they just call and sub it out to us when it comes to keys and locks on cars.

HAHAHA. i enjoy you.
And as long as you're not giving a cop any reason to bother you and search you and find your picks you're probably in the blue. And if you're giving a cop a reason to bother you.. well, if you're worried, maybe you shouldn't be doing stuff to get cops' attention.

Ive said it before and ill say it again
IF ur carrying picks and forget you can land you self in trouble. everyone and i mean everyone at some point will get drunk and take a shortcut across a field or through an entry or behind a building. if a police car drives past (or the land owner catches you on a field they will call the police) and you will be searched.
At which point you will be a suspicious situation with picks.
"Do not pass go, do not collect £200"
All the best
