possesion of picks isn't illegal in Australia except for in the NT. but you'll probably need a credit card to purchase them. Lockpickshop.com is a great site (I got mine from there).

having said that, it would be a good experience to make your own. have a look arround this site for pictures of different pics that people have made and their proportions compared to locks etc.

i do have hacksaw blades but wouldnt they be too flimsy expecially when cut so small and thin

from what I've found and heard from others (with the exception of Luke the lockwood guru :D ) Lockwood make even their lower cost locks very well and will require more precision to pick.

From your earlier post, I beleive you are using FAR too much tension. Just the weight of your finger on the wrench is often plenty.

Read The Flipping Manual. Substitute 'Flipping' for something a little stronger.....
