If you think you can pick the particular lock, remember the drivers door is where the key is used most often, so that lock will be more worn and perhaps looser, while the passenger door will be less worn, tighter, and perhaps silted in, in spite of the dust covers, however, since a slim jim, and by that i mean all sorts of wires that go down to get it open, whether they try to manipulate the bel crank, or go under the windo and push up the button or grab an operating rod, or even go under the window and come out inside the car, to reach the lock lever, should always be used on the passenger side, so that you don't get hit by passing traffic, and so that if you do disconect a rod, it will be on the door less used. If you want to study how to use these types of 'jims', go to the local junkyard and sweettalk your way in, see if they will let you practice on some doors, even some with the interior upholstry panels removed so that you can see what is going on through the lightening cutouts. (interior metal panels have cut outs to lighten the load, and these are called 'lightening'
