I've never ordered from LPS and so I have nothing to add about their specific service one way or another, but I will say this: when there's been a problem with orders at other companies and they've been responsive to emails and calls, I've been understanding of the delay (honestly, any half-decent excuse will do, as long as there's communication and it doesn't feel like they're just delaying). It's when companies have outright refused to communicate that I've had a problem, and complained to people who were in a position to force the company to fix the issue.

+1

I've had to call at 1AM (my time) in the morning before. Not because of anything they did wrong though.

I placed an order (my first) Saturday evening, 3/2, and it's on the UPS truck for delivery to me today. Granted I'm in the Boston area, but that's exceptional service. I'm sure some things can go haywire, though.

Ordered from them once a few years back and a second time this month. Prompt shipping and e-mails. Never had to deal with customer service and am located in the Greater Boston area though. Also this last order shipped from NH if I remember correctly? Tax advantages caused them to move? Dunno what the case is.

I made an order at March 4th and today received my package to the other side of the globe. Quite impressive, recommended.

Just as a general update to the situation regarding my order placed in september of last year which i still havent recieved, i was surprised recently with a reply to facebook contact i made with Lockpickshop.com. Needless to say they said they would look into the situation for me but i have since recieved no other contact. I know that in my case time has probably got the better of me on this particular oder that i placed with them but it would be nice to recieve some contact from them again. At the end of the day im kind of over it now and hey if they manage to hook something up for me ill be happy but if they dont well then i guess ill just be fine without the item i ordered. I still recommend Lockpickshop.com no matter what and i guess this is just that one bad experience that ill encounter with ordering online.
