Thanks for the tip. It's good to see that there are some effective but non-toxic solvents.
I've seen a solvent called n-methyl pyrolidinone (there are a few variations of the chemical name) used to clean hardened ink from printing press components. Works very well, much better than acetone, but also eats into linoleum floors, as I've seen. I don't recommend using it.
