Shrub is a good man. He will not soon be forgoeetn by the members here. Even those who did not agree with his methods cannot deny the vast ammount of knowledge he brought to the site. I personally learned alot from him. I'm sure many others did as well.

I should state that I agree that some "advanced" material should be kept a bit secretive, but -

Be careful what you say here. If you start taking responsibility for everything listed on the site, then there is a good chance you could be held responsible. Wouldn't want to run into any legal loopholes/issues.

I don't think the advanced section is about taking legal responsibility for anything, it's just a way to give access to longer standing, contributing members who wish to share information that is not generally in the public domain. It is a great asset to LP101 since it allows both trade people and hobbyists to join in the discussions. This is a welcome change from professional sites where hobbyists (and I am one of them) are not allowed due to strict code of ethics rules.

Not one is talking about legal responsibility. You use any of the information posted on this site illegally and it is your problem and no one else's.

I am also a member of a "locksmith only" forum. As far as technical info goes LP101 blows it away. The people there are also extremely rude. If your not one of the boys who is a CML you don't matter.
