you know, ive reread this thread alot now, especially my post and db's post above, here i am a newbie to the forum, trying to learn about locksport and instead i rant about another newbie asking a question, about picking a lock in use and not his own property admittedly, but as a newbie i dont have any sort of right to do this, yes it was a shady post but my post should have been informative not abusive and brought his attention to the rules we observe here to protect the image of lp101 lest it be tarnished by a high school senior after some kicks or anyone else that trys to open an in-use lock and not their own. thats just my own opinion on the matter and now i retreat back to lurking and learning....
if everyone who tried something new liked it but didnt bother telling anyone else there would never be anything new to try...

If you're going to pull a dumb prank don't use lockpicks.
I don't want this crap ending in crack downs on ownership of lockpicks etc, as locksport in general will suffer from that... What you were planning is illegal, it's animal and it's wrong... I don't know what to suggest instead, but think of something that is funny, but loss illegal and doesn't involve any form of animal cruelty =S
All your locks are belong to us.

you know just the other day i was sitting down to breakfast, well it wasn't 'breakfast' food but it was my first meal of the day, and well i was sipping on a pint of cider talking to my buddy, yes sometimes i have alcohol with my breakfast, and well he says to me "I don't understand people and then when you put the internet on top of it well then I really don't understand people". I stopped right there and I couldn't agree anymore. Well the moral of this story is, how should I put this....

Guys at my school had a prank involving a blow up of the 'goatse' image being stuck to the auditorium wall. There was also talk of sending a bommy vw beetle down the hill onto the sports oval. :D
