Hmmm...

It looks like the kind of Medeco keyway that's had the bejesus beat out of it to me. We have Medeco locks on all the entrances where I work and none of them look like that, that's for darn sure.

 ya i know it has been beatin pretty bad, it has for sure earned its ul listing god knows how this thing got so darn beat up looks like someone tried to jam somethin in there not sure what. I dont have a key for this lock so i was trying to figure out if theses key blanks would fit:

Medeco Keyblanks by Kaba Ilco. Ilco Generic Keyblanks Featuring Medeco Keyways including 5-Pin Medeco Keys 1515, 1517 and 6-Pin Medeco Keys A1515, A1517

I know these locks are 5 pins but i dont know what 1515 or 1517 means

1515 is simply Medeco's level 1 AIR keys, and 1517 is the SKY keyway. They are actually fairly common Medeco keys.
As it turns out, there is only 1 way to do things...right, and fast.

that is medeco's standard cam lock key. the cuts are actually begin with like a 3 or a 4, not an actual 1 on a code card.

any locksmith should have a blank, but trying to get one from us locksmiths is tough! we're greedy!

Actually, the warped metal of the keyway seems to be bowing outward, not inward. This would be more indicative of a screwdriver type attack where someone tries to snap the cylinder. A bumping attack, which is futile on a Medeco w/out the correct pin rotations, would have dented the metal near the top of the keyway inward. :-P

Ya i was thinking about it myself and i dont think anybody has bumbed it because there would be a dent inward like Omikron said and the screw driver thing well that might be what happend to it but i am not sure, Maybe someone has tried the jam something in the keyway just to piss off the owner, all i know is that it took a pretty good beating over the years.
