I Want to Learn to Individual Pick

Postby CougarElite » 13 Jan 2006 15:47

Hey,

I got my first lockpick set in the mail yesterday. It is a 14 piece set from lockpickshop.com. I'm very happy with the quality of the tools:)! I picked a lock on a door in my house already. It was very easy I just had to use some torque and rake the pins or whatever you call it. I can do it every time on that lock. I tried to move on to my front and back doors but I'm not getting lucky with those ones.

These locks have a keypad where you have to enter a code and it opens the lock for you. There is a keyhole though and it looks like any other keyhole I've seen. I've been trying to use the raking technique I used on the other door but it just won't open. I think I need to individual pick this one or something, but I'm not sure how to learn. Can anyone tell me or get me going in the right direction?

Thanks,
Joey
