Hi,
The first set, the Japanese set, is basically the slimline version of the second set. Both of those sets come with re-inforced handles, which is recommended for that brand of lockpick (southord.)
I'm not sure what kind of locks they have in Israel, but I would recommend the second set that you linked to from www.lockpicks.com. They will not bend or warp as easily for a beginner, who is bound to use too much pressure at times.
After using those picks for a long time, if you find that you do not have a pick that is thin enough for some locks, you may consider making some. There are many great tutorials on this site for doing just that. I would suggest using the shape of a hook pick from your store-bought set and simply making in more slim. Information about making picks can be found here: viewtopic.php?t=10398
I hope I could help you out, and happy picking.

The easiest way to determine the size of pick you need would be if you were to name some regular lock brands that you have in Israel. If they happen to be Schlage or Kwikset then you're in business.

Take a look either at the locks found on your doors or in a local store where you would buy locks. Take note of the brands. Yale tends to be a higher quality european brand that most would prefer a more slim pick for, but I think more information is needed first before determining what picks you need.

The regular hook (which is the pick you'll most often want to use) starts at 4mm and tapers down to 2mm at the tip (discluding the handle.) I'm not sure what the size of a slimline pick would be.
You can use slimline picks on most any lock, but they were designed to deal with smaller sized locks in europe and japan. They are more easily bent because they are of course more slim. Regular picks can pretty much be used on most locks you'll run in to, but sometimes have a hard time coping with high security locks.

The locks on the houses here are made by an Israeli company, so if I'm going to be enough brave I will ask a local locksmith,
I added 2 pictures of locks (those are the locks that my dad gave me to practic): one Yale lock, and another simple door lock (I don't know how it called).
Can I use regular picks on them?

What are those 4 (out of focus) letters on the front of the door lock? Almost looks like Abus!. Certainly the lock looks similar to a C83 I have. It's a Euro-cylinder profile lock, and appears to have the same keyway used by Abus, and Yale as well. I have used both normal and slimline hook picks on both types of lock. These days I'm leaning towards the slimline, but it is a little easier to bend accidentally if you're not too careful.

In the front of the door lock the word is: NABOB,
so... I think that the keyway of the Yale lock is the smallest keyway out of my locks - so, the best pick set for me is regular (not slim-line)?
btw, I have alot of locks with the "logo": 777, and 333, what about them?
thank you for the help

What I actually did was to buy a small standard set of Southord picks, and later just bought a single slimline hook on its own.
At, for example, http://www.multipick-service.com/en/start_en.htm you can find single slimline picks. They hide the manufacturer and call them Pro-line, but they are just Southord slimline picks.

Oh, sorry for double post, but I forgot your 777 and 333s. Means nothing to me. But I can say that I've not found a (pin cylinder type) padlock of any size which couldn't be picked with a standard Southord small hook.
