Where is a good place to buy Picks ect.. in Edmonton?

I have only been to Edmonton once and i was not looking for picks but the internet is your best bet.

It is against the law in Alberta to be in possession of pick tools without a license, so your not likely to find any stores that will sell them to you.

In another month (if not sooner) I'll be applying for my picking license. Just curious as to who sells locksmith tools out here. I heard it's a two year prison term and/or a hefty fine if found possessing Locksmith tools in Alberta..

I should have specified "brick&mortar" stores. Quite likely any internet store will sell them to you no questions asked. Your best bet of course, is to sit down with a few people who do have such a license and borrow their tools (such as at an LSI meeting) so you don't break any laws.

Also, regulations in Alberta will likely be changing soon due to reformatting of the Act that governs such things, so we'll see how the legislation changes.
