To be honest I really like the reinforced handles of the Southord Slimlines... If you have those I'd stick with them.

Depends on if the handles are hard or soft.
Hard handles make it easier to grip while still getting good feedback through the tool.
No i can't spell, and yes i'm dyslexic.

Personally i prefer no handles as i get better feedback. I use majestic picks. I did put tape around one but then took it off after couple of days

I have the Southord PXS-17 that come with the removable brass handle. I must say that I really like that handle. You can position the pick however you want it and I get pretty good feedback and control with it.
Of course, there are times when I don't feel like messing with putting the handle on and just use the picks as is, but generally I prefer using the handle.

If they are hurting your hands try to sand the handles with fine grain sandpaper.. Southord picks are stamped out of shhet metal, and have rough edges, merely making the edges smooth might help.
Those handles look a waste of money, but since I have yet to try them I'll reserve judgement.

I REALLY like the plastic southord picks. this is coming from the southord bare metal ones without handles. the feedback is much better, and its alot more comfortable. I wouldnt go with the vynal handles. i know some people who have them, and dont use them because they arent too great.

The only commercial picks I have used are from SouthOrd. I have them with and without handles. I like the metal handled ones best.

I have to say that I prefer handles because it just seems to feel better in my hand. Also the flat sharp metal seems to irritate and cut my fingers which is a pain-in-the-ass. Handles however reduce the response you get from the lock. I figure that its worth it. Non-cut hands for losing some feel is a fair trade.

Would anyone know of, or recommend, a set with dental-pick handles? I hear mention of dental-pick picks from TOOOL but I simply haven't found any.

These picks were some kind of craze on this forum a while back, and it seems they are well worth the money, but they're really not cheap.

A lot of money, and if you get them I'd appreciate it greatly if you'd do a small write up on them.
