Heard on the grapevine that a company called Absolute Emergencies (based in Dorset?) are looking to expand into the east of England and are looking for subbie locksmiths. Anyone come across them before and any opinions on them? Similar to Reactfast? Better/Worse?

regards

avoid like the plague, you get 40% of job value and stock replaced at their extortionate rates, absolute tosh old mate.
worse than reactfast by far with not as much work, they are franchising their locktech franchises, they use subbies on 40% of job to build up their business in an area, then once built up they sell area off as a franchise, they also bin you if you dont drill enough locks.

they will meet you in a services on motorway, sign you up, rip you off then try putting you out of business in your area.

They have already started in the north east 2 months ago.
Like Pinky said avoid them, worse than R Fast if that’s possible.
They don’t give many jobs and when they do they are miles from your area,
no mileage allowance given so any little profit is used up in fuel and ware & tare on your van.

I met them a couple of years ago - as Pinky says, at a Motorway Service Station on the M1.

Did one job for them and changed a pair of mul-t-lock classics. They sent me a Merchant Euro to replace my stock - we had some very strong words and we never did any work for them again.

They bulls*it you and tell you how they can get parts cheaper because of their massive buying power and all that crap. You use a decent locks and they palm you off with some low grade rubbish that I wouldn't secure a dog kennel with.
Thats Just My View Folks...........
