Utility Belts?

Postby greasyduckv1 » 22 Feb 2006 2:48

I'm a hobbyist and discovered a large list of items I have put on my utility belt... To help things out, could some of ya'll post the items on your belt?

Hi

IMO walking around with a belt gives the impression of a cowboy! Especially if you have a cordless slung from it.

I prefer a nice smart aluminium case to hold my picks etc, and also take a small toolbox to the door. If I know i am going to be installing locks (rather than attend a lock-out) then I bring the mortice/rim lock fitting toolkit.

regards

I have to agree with horsefeathers here wearing a belt may give off the wrong impression. A aluminium case looks nice and professional or a mobile tool chest like a flight case also. I also wear smart navy combat trousers which is aso handy for picks and the most essential tools that are small enough

I don't like to carry tool boxes or put many things in my pockets.

Each to their own of course - i just like to present a more professional presentation when I turn up on their doorstep. (Plus I like to open up my ali box and astound them with all my paraphenalia(!) - like Pandora's box). Why I might even take to wearing a tie and cravat...
