Congrats indeed, you might want to get a cheap pin tumbler to repin.
There are several guides on beginners exersizes and how to repin the lock, good luck on it.

repinning will change the feel of the pins, the config will totally change.
It will be a new challenge to pick, every time you have repinned it.
It's great for practice and getting the feel of it.
Your wkills will get better in no time

Those are spool pins.

Along with mushroom, and serrated pins they are broadly known as security pins.

They hinder picking if you apply too much tension, but if you simply learn to use the right amount of tension they generaly offer little hindrance.

Changed the order the pins are in, put a big bottom pin next to a little pin, if you want to make it quite hard then go: big, small, big, small, big... that'll make it more... fun. :)

Congrats on your locks you've picked. :)

When you drill holes on the lock to take the pins and springs out how do you close the holes after repinning it? Where do you get material to do it :?:

ACK!!!! Drilling Holes in your lock?

Sounds like you had one of those brass locks that you have to drill out to be able to remove the pins. I would sujest getting a deadboly lock that you can repin easily without having to drill.

Obviously it helped illusion (like allways) but I had already seen that post but didn't pay a lot of attention to it. I'll give it a try but I'm not sure about the paper clip thing. What do you think about this, specially the 8115 Mounting Clamp?
