Wendt Gun, best picks ?

Postby Def-Con » 26 Feb 2006 10:20

I recently got myself the wendt pick gun "zieh-fix"
there were some standard picks included in the package
two straigh blades ( Pick "Novum" )

after opening some locks , both of these picks broke
( is that normal, or did i apply to much force? )

anyhow, now i have to purchase new ones

can anyone give me recommendations, to wich pick he had most success with?

id be very grateful :D

Multipick also sell a pack of spare blades of varying shapes, get a pack of those.

No it isnt normal to break the blades that fast.

I dont have the Wendt gun but i have the HPC gun and use it with the Wendt blades. I have the most sucess with the standerd strait blade the advantage being the thiness of the Wendt blades alowing you to get into tighter keyways.

Second to that is the half-diamond, you can use that to bounce individual pins

Cheers

Too much force, and too much lateral and horizontal movement of the EPG when in use.

With keyways such as Evva, Asec and Cisa, it's very easy to catch a blade on the side of the narrow keyways, so it's important how you align the blade on the pins. Which locks have you been using it on?
