At my work they had a Gary safe in the back that was left over from when it was a bowling alley. They said i could have it for a dollar if i could move it out of there. So i did. It wieghs from 1500 to 2000 pounds i think? It is a massive safe that is used for money deposits. One side has a tiny door with a combo with a key to unlock the combo, and the other side has a combo without a lock on it. My question is i tried calling the number on the safe to try to obtain the combos for it, but the number is about some girls hotline to hookup with local singles. This safe is from the 60's i think. I tried to contact the Gary safe company, but i see that they were bought by another company, and were no help in trying to help me get the combos for it. I just would like to know if anyone knows a number I can call to try and get help trying to find that last useable combos of this safe. I wouldnt want my dollar and $122 dollars go to waste haha. the $122 was for moving it. I will post pictures if you guys want. Alright, thanx.

If it was used to handle cash then there is a good possibility that the safe company could not help you out anyway since the combo has likely been changed several times. Your best bet would be to call a safe technician and get a quote to open it.

yeah. I am worried about that. I have tried to mess with it myself, but i can tell it is going to take a long time for me to do it myself. I have a bill of sale, from the store, which is the one that owns the safe, but i guess because of records of the combos, i guess i can't aquire it that way. So i guess my two options are, make it a feat to do it myself, or fork out alot more money on the thing. oh here are some pics of it.
The little piece of paper is me working on it to crack it. Hasn't worked so far...
The number that is now a girls hotline. The 1-800 one. the other one is a fax now.

I thought this was lockpicking101.com, i dont see how putting the place you live would get you any contact at all but may very well get you region specific help.

If I were you, I would get an S&G 6730 off ebay, mount it up and practice manipulation. I suggest a good read of Matt Blazes paper on the topic. What do you really have to loose? I mean you dont need the safe open at the moment.
Did you try the obvious combinations. 0-0-0, numbers ending in 0 and 5, 0-50-0, etc. 10-20-30, 20-30-40 etc. Id set such a combo if I had sold a business with safe.

20-40-60 and 4 turns left to 50 are the first combs I'd try. After that follow the basics. Patience and 500+ hours of practice and a guy can get really good at it.
