same key different lock?

at my house there is one key to the front door the back door and the yard door, like most houses i can pick my back door and side door but my front door is a different story its heavier but i tried adding more tension im gonna try and add pics but at the moment my camera is unnaccesible if any1 has any idea why its not working im using the same techniques
