Hi, I just got done reading the chapter "warded locks" in "The Complete Guide to Lockpicking" by "Eddy the wire", and now I'd like to know where I could gets some warded lock key blanks from....Any help? Also, what about files? could you recommend some? Thirdly: would standard box matches work for marking the key, or would I need something a bit hotter? Lastly, is there any practice warded locks I could get? I can't find any...But maybe you could suggest some places to look?
Thanks

If you are talking about making warded picks, you can make a simple one from a bicycle spoke - it works well.
I posted a photo a while back - some searching ought to find it.
Either get a permanent marker, and colour the entire blade of the key, or smoke the blade using a match.
Master make a warded padlock.
Dunno about keyblanks, sorry.

Generally you have to cut the warding yourself, from your regular mortice key blanks. That's what a warding file is for.

Hes not after picks hes after key blanks.
Basically does anyone have a key blank supplier in his neck of the woods that can sell to a (non lockie?) and have mortise blanks.
Or other than that any members willing to send/sell him some?

I was talking about padlocks. And, I'm not talking about getting picks, I mean getting blank skeleton keys, pretty much. Is that more clear?

Well, that was a big mass of ugliness, wasn't it? Anyways, I'm sure you can pick out the URL's from there.
