Need help learning the tools of the trade

Hmm i dont know if anyone else has this problem but when i look at the 30 piece pick sets i wouldnt know what to use for what type of lock i know the standard picks.. half diamond full diamond and snake ext but most of the other ones i wouldnt know what to use them for. can someone send me a link that could teach me.... with pictures... plz help
