Washer/Dryer Key

Postby nhbrender » 16 Apr 2006 15:16

Hey,

Last year I got a really good deal on a used washer/dryer from a local laundromat. To turn it on I need to use a key to open up the top and flip the switch.

Unfortunely I have lost the key while moving, and the laundromat said that they never kept a copy.

Does anyone know a way that I can pick the lock so that I don't have to call a lock smith? It is a speed queen dryer and the lock is a round one like on most U-Locks.

Can anyone help please?

LOL Doesnt anybody read the rules?
It is far better to remain silent and be thought of as stupid, rather than opening your mouth and removing all possible doubt.

It's a tubular lock.

You'll pay out perhaps £50 for a pick, so you may as well just call out a locksmith and get them to do it - you'll get a new key made at the same time which saves you having to pick the lock each time you want to use it.

Can you take a picture of the machine in your house?

Yes basically although im guessing a laundromat is a brand name of a firm (?) , a laundrette is the name given to a shop or building that houses washing machines and or dryers for the public to use at a cost,

[joke]

Ok guys, I know the rules and all, so I was wondering if I could get some tips on opening up this Pepsi machine. I am not a "n00b", just want some help, here is proof that I own it, a picture of it in my house.

Thanks guys,

Blink

P.S. - I am completely aware of how tubular locks work, and how to pick them, this is a joke :P.

P.S.S. - Shrub, Laudromat is the general name as well, kind of like Restaurant.

Modified? Well, maybe but just a little. It is not my house, rather my parents house (I'm 18, last year of high school).

And yeah, the TV is great for video games, I'm more of a PC gamer though 8).
