"The Art of Manipulation"
We all know of it. Ebay, 15 dollars right now. Auction ends in a few hours. It's only a photocopied version, but it's better than no version. Snatch it up. I'm not the seller, I just thought I'd pass along this good find.

hmmm.......sounds somewhat like copyright infringement to me :?

unless the copyright has been let run out on that book, but somehow I doubt that.

according to the seller on ebay, which is from Isreal, the book does not fall under copyright protection.

The link to the auction is:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Art-of-Manipulation ... dZViewItem

Can someone shed some light to the legality of this? This is a good deal if it is indeed legal as that book is hard to find!

I spotted this auction this morning the seller does state. "Since it is a photocopy, you pay just less then 10% of the original price!!!"

looks like a darn knockoff of the LSS/bible-compendium.

I'm drooling.

I believe this is included in LSS. It's an old book, but looks amazing. :)

Yeah, sorry for not posting a link. I wrote that post quickly between classes.
Yeah, I looked it up already and the copyright has indeed run out. If anyone cares to check: http://www.loc.gov :-) I'm surprised someone hasn't made a web version yet. Ebook it.

Hey, Congrats JimB, I see that you're the lucky buyer. :-D

Thanks; I was wondering how long it would take someone to figure it out. You guys talked me into it. :)

I was a little disappointed with the FB safe lessons. They did not even touch on manipulation or drilling, only on how the locks worked, how to change the combo and some servicing of the lock.

jimb,

please let us know how the book is after you've had a chance to check it out!

I'd be curious, too. The "new and improved" version of AoM that's part of LSS+ is absolutely excellent.
