First lockpick set

Postby Rubberducky » 24 Apr 2006 16:46

Hi everybody, i just discovered lockpicking.
I made my first pick + tension wrench out of a coathanger and succesfully opened a BURG lock with it.
Now I decided I want to buy a lockpick set.
I don't really know what the good ones are.
I was thinking about Feather Weight Jack Knife Pick (JPXS-6F).
Is this a good one?

Where can I buy this one the cheapest? (I live in Belgium)
I found: http://www.multipick-service.cc/ but they wont let you check out if your netto price is lower then EUR 25.00, the pick set costs 22.9.
I prefer a webshop that is in Europe?

CLICKY!

You should probably go for the set I've ordered.

It's the 9 piece slim line pick set.

The clicky is the thread all about the starter set.

What is the difference between the slim-line lockpicks and the standard?

Standard picks are a little bigger, slim-lines were made for restrictive keyways (a lot of Euro locks).

You can still use standard picks on many European locks, it's down to getting the right positiomn in the keyway.

Can you fill in your profile to include a location please?

That's not a bad choice of picks. :)
