Postby Makita » 28 Apr 2006 19:07

I work for school. I revice 2 calls that teachers say they can't put key in key hole, I came to check and it so hard to fit then gave up and use hook scarpe super glue but it got 35 min of remove glue then try put key in it and it stuck and will not move and I got mad then get long screwdriver and pry doors off frame. How you can fix super glue in mortise lock. It say BEST M1 it look 10 years olds. Thank for your help. Teachers is really angry for that problem.

If the doors are open the best thing you can do is remove the locks and just change them, if you have the time and want to read a guide written by illusion o stripping a lock then do that otherwise just scrap them, its kids safety at the end of the day and you dont want a half serviced lock on a door keeping people in when theres a fire or somthing.

They are only cheap locks, get a lockie to do it and you will keep your masterkeying the same.
